Phil Whelan
MD
- After previous careers as a professional footballer and headteacher, Phil returned to his roots as MD at DASS.
- Phil completed an accountancy degree at UEA in the early 90s and, after being lucky enough to enjoy a varied working career, returned to where heart lies supporting a range of clients with all their accounting needs.
Daniel Starkey
ACA
- Daniel trained and qualified as a chartered account at one of the largest independent accountancy firms in the North West of England. He gained experience of accounting for a wide range of businesses from sole-traders and partnerships to audited SMEs.
- Daniel has since gained industry experience as Financial Controller for several group entities and joined DASS in 2022 to support SME clients with all accounting and tax needs.
Tom Metcalfe
ACCA
- Tom is currently semi-qualified with the ACCA and is in the last stage gaining chartered status, having over 5 years’ experience in practice working with SMEs across a range of industries, he has a passion for helping fuel growth in developing businesses.
- Outside of work Tom is a keen sportsman and prides himself on adding value to any team he is involved in.
